Who Killed Santa?
Full-length adult comedy. 3 men, 2 women, 1 flexible. Unit set.
It's a Choose-Your-Own-Ending Musical-Murder-Mystery Holiday-Who-Done-It.
Santa is hosting his annual December party attended by the usual holiday favorites, Frosty, Tiny Tim, The Little Drummer Boy, and Rudolph. Everyone has a bone to pick with Santa, some old, some new. Tempers flare after the introduction of the sexy new Little Drummer Girl, and Santa ends up with a candy cane through the heart. No one will confess, no one can leave, and Christmas is in jeopardy. The characters are visited by a couple of less-than-helpful detectives whose only ultimate contributions are to the body count. As the tension builds, all the dirty secrets of the iconic holiday characters are revealed. Eventually, the suspects are narrowed down, and with the help of the audience, the murderer is finally convicted and sentenced.
Who Killed Santa? is an alternative adult show featuring four possible endings, parodies of holiday songs, drag, and gratuitous violence. It's been produced consecutively for the last two years in Milwaukee and Denver. Both Milwaukee shows have received critical acclaim and sold-out performances. The 2008 production at Denver's Dangerous Theatre was the best selling show in the theatre's history, they brought it back for a five week run in 2009.
"It's Christmas' dirty little secret."

"...somewhere near the end of the play, you realize that you’ve watched a triple homicide at a holiday party with Rudolph, Tiny Tim and Frosty and the vague sense of the bizarre becomes quite clear. It’s fun and it may be something of a guilty pleasure, but there’s a genuine heart to it all..."
